We met Carlotta in 2006. She was only a child then, but she is a young woman today. During her adolescence she used iAble-MyTobii, an eye control communicator that she used to interact and communicate with others people, to write or for math calculations.
Carlotta often turns to a trusted person to study or interface with her mobile device or cell phone, while staying loyal to her communicator, especially when she wishes to have some “privacy”.
When we met her she told us: “I can write to whomever I want to and whenever I want to, without having to dictate my thoughts to an intermediary. I have become free to communicate with other people via e-mail without having to resort to a third party for help”.
