i-Med is an extremely innovative medical console based on eye tracking technology, designed to facilitate visualization, processing, analysis and sharing of medical images, replacing keyboard and mouse with a more user-friendly and effective interface activated by eye or voice control.
i-Med was introduced at the RSNA (Radiological Society of North America), in November 2004, at the most important world event in the field of radiology. It simple and direct mode of operation (eyes and voices instead of keyboard and mouse) to interact with the console, allows for a speedier diagnostic process with increased concurrent accuracy.
Furthermore, the i-Med solution provides an important feedback to the medical examiner thanks to the mapping of zones and data observed, the time spent on each and the path followed during image analysis: all this elements help to improve final examination results.
